DESCRIPTION:"The Importance of Mentorship"\n\nJoin us as we meet with several leaders from across the community in this panel discussion about the importance of mentorship. Our panelists will discuss their experiences of being a mentor\, how they identified and began their own mentorships and what you can do as a Young Professional to grow in your own mentor/mentee relationship. \n\n\n\nFeatured Panelist:\n\n\n\nAmi Cotharn\, MSN\, RN\n\nChief Operating Officer\, Coastal Health & Wellness\n\n\n\n\n\nBackground:\n\nFor over 23 years\, Ami Cotharn\, MSN\, RN\, has been a noteworthy leader in a professional space. Ami has served in various roles at Galveston County Health District\, as the Tuberculosis Program Manager\, and then transitioned to Community Health Services Manager\, to Chief Nursing Officer for GCHD and Coastal Health & Wellness\, GCHD's Federally Qualified Health Center\, and then in March of 2022 accepted Chief Operating Officer of Coastal Health & Wellness. Ami is known for being a versatile healthcare executive who leverages strategic leadership and an analytical mindset to solve problems and improve organizational productivity and success. She is passionate about delivering forward-thinking solutions and aiming to drive efficiency wherever she puts her energy.\n\n\n\n\n\nJohn Snow\n\nExxon Mobil\, Mr. Gentleman Bow Ties\n\n\n\n\n\nBackground:\n\nJohn Snow has been a volunteer for Higher Up Texas (HUT) since 2019. He is a proud entrepreneur for a unique bow tie company called Mr. Gentleman\, a technician analyzer for Exxon Mobil\, a freelance photographer\, and a positive influencer in the community. \n\n\n\nLyndell Drummond:\n\nProud Member of Higher Up Texas\n\n\n\n\n\nBackground:\n\nLyndell Drummond has been a proud member of Higher Up Texas since 2021. He graduated from Dickinson High School and has taken a variety of courses at College of the Mainland. His familiar face is often seen at either Marais where he is a busser or MI Lewis where he enjoys volunteering! \n\n\n\nNetwork with other Young Professionals in the Texas City-La Marque community.
