DESCRIPTION:The purpose of the Texas City-La Marque Chamber of Commerce Women in Leadership Awards is to honor deserving women who inspire others to strive for excellence in their professional and personal lives. This person must have made significant contributions through her service or accomplishments in her profession or community at large.\n\n\n\nRecipients are selected for their leadership qualities in these areas: Integrity\, Passion\, Humility\, Empathy\, Fostering collaboration\, Servant leadership\, Uplifting and adding value to others.\n\n\nRecipients are selected in each of the following categories: Education\, Large Business\, Small Business\, Women-Owned Business\, Non-Profit and Young Professional.\n\n\n\nJoin us in Honoring these six extraordinary Women in Leadership Wednesday\, May 10!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe WILA Luncheon is an elegant event including a delicious catered lunch. Enjoy watching video highlights from the HONOREES and be inspired by our motivational speaker. \n\n\n\nAll winners will also be featured in a special edition of the Chamber Express Newsletter in June!\n\n\n\nClick here to watch the Honorees videos!\n\n\n\nKey Note Speaker:\n\n\n\nStacy Putman\n\nManager of Leadership Development & Strategic Circular Economy Projects\, INEOS\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSpeaker Background:\n\nStacy Putman is Manager of Leadership Development & Strategic Circular Economy Projects for INEOS.  Stacy joined INEOS in 2005 where she began as a Commercial Operations Manager. Subsequent roles included Corporate HSE Manager\, Site Director\, and Sr. Project Director on a $1b+ capital project expansion at the INEOS Brazoria County site through 2020.\n\n \n\nStacy currently serves on national and local industry committees and economic development workforce development committees\, Chairs the Houston Community College Chancellor's Business Champions Council\, serves on several Boards including the San Jacinto College Foundation\, and is President of the Board of Dream It Do It an organization that promotes modern STEM education with teachers and students to create access to life-changing opportunities. \n\n \n\nIn 2016\, she was honored with the Manufacturing Institute's (MI) Top 100 Women in Manufacturing in North America award and was recently honored with the first "Friend of Galveston Beaches" for her work in plastic recycling and community advancements in Galveston.  Stacy earned her bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas Tech University\, and MBA in Innovation & Circular Economy from the University of Bradford\, and holds certificates from Cornell in Diversity\, Inclusion & Accessibility and Texas A&M in Nonprofit Governance and Leadership\; and\, was recently accredited by the UN as an Observer to the governing body of the UN Environment Assembly working on the Global Plastic Waste Treaty where over 160 countries are participating.\n\n\n\nClick REGISTER on this page to make ticket/table reservations today!
