DESCRIPTION:UPDATE   Friday\, August 12\, 9:30am\n\nDue to rain at the event site\, the Shrimp Boil is moving INDOORS! \n\n \n\nAll the food\, fun\, music and drinks will still happen this evening from 6:00-9:30pm!  Inside the Nessler Civic Center\, the Wings of Heritage Room is now the venue for the dinner and concert. Located at: 2010 5th Avenue N\, Texas City  (You will see signs where to park and enter. There is also a drive-through lane.)\n\n\n\n---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------\n\nZesty cajun boiled shrimp and jambalaya\, cold drinks\, and a live concert by The Line Up band will be featured at the Texas City-La Marque Chamber's annual Shrimp Boil on Friday\, August 12\, at Nessler Park in Texas City. The fun will begin at 6:00 p.m. \n\n\n\nThe Shrimp Boil is a favorite tradition of the community that has been held for more than 40 years. Young and old and everyone in between agree\, the Shrimp Boil is a night to relax and have a good time while visiting with colleagues\, friends and neighbors.\n\n\n\nTickets are $30 in advance and can be purchased at the Chamber office\, at Texas First Bank on Palmer Highway in Texas City\, or online here (click the "Register" button).  Tickets are $35 per person on event day.\n\n\n\nThe ticket price includes a one pound shrimp dinner\, jambalaya\, corn on the cob and potatoes\, 2 beers or soft drinks\, and live musical entertainment. There will be a free bounce house for kids! Hot dog meals will be available for $5 (with chips and drink). Serving time is 6:00pm until 7:30pm. Live music and dancing until 9:30pm!  There is also an awesome RAFFLE\, and you can buy a chance to win a Bud Light Beverage Center stocked with beer\, Consuela Tote Bag with swag\, or $100 VISA Gift Card.\n\n\n\nY'all come!
